I met you

There’s a certainty about your words

That eludes me

The way you recreate circumstances

Has left prints on my thoughts

You’d said:

Strangers don’t exist

We are all moulded,

Changed, held by imperfections.

Maybe

We’ll let our skins breathe,

Drawn to the spaces unknown to us.
